What a wonderful tool for the classroom. Just paste in some text about your current 'topic' and a cloud of words is created based on the frequency of the words in the text. This could be used as a spelling list, revision for a test, even as a learning tool for those visual learners in your classroom.
I think that using this tool to generate spelling tests, revision tests and using it as a tool to help visual learners, is a really good idea.
ReplyDeleteThis tool could provide real meaning about why a certain spelling test was created. This is done by the students being able to see, that the words that are most important, are those that are the biggest and that is why they are being used.
Did you consider allowing the students to generate their own spelling tests by using TagCrowd?
